The EU's proposed browser-level consent could destroy digital marketing for startups and SMEs. Don't make it harder for them to reach customers. Europe needs more challengers.
Be a Tough Cookie. Stand with us.

The EU Commission's Digital Omnibus proposes moving cookie consent from websites to browsers. While this sounds convenient, it would:
Customer acquisition costs could double, making digital marketing unaffordable for small businesses.
SMEs and Startups risk losing access and control of vital consumer data forcing them into "spray and pray" marketing, creating an unequal playing field and weakening their overall competitiveness.
Less targeted ads mean higher prices and worse experiences.
Small businesses have already lost up to 60% of usable customer data since GDPR. This proposal would eliminate their ability to compete entirely, forcing them into inefficient "spray and pray" marketing.
“This proposal is being framed as a fight against gatekeepers. In reality, it risks kneecapping European SMEs. Smaller businesses depend on targeted advertising to compete, grow, and reach the right customers. it will close the door on Europe's next generation of innovators”
